SMALL GROUPS, CONSCIENCIOUS SHOOTERS
| The SGC maintains a private shooting range via a 1964 Patent Land Deed from the Bureau of Land Management. Members and their guests utilize this important free resource for personal pleasure and most trainings and competitions are held here. If you would like to shoot at the range just come to a meeting and we'll be happy to make you our guest. | The Socorro Gun Club exists to provide the greater Socorro, New Mexico community with the material and human resources necessary to educate citizens of all ages in the safe use of firearms. | The SGC has partnered with the New Mexico Tech Shooting Sports Club to provide educational opportunites which include air rifle competition and training, Civilian Marksmanship Program events, Action Pistol competitions, and other member-led training events. Safety and responsible firearms ownership is always a number one priority at all events. | |
